Aletha Fay Carter

Aletha Fay Carter, 57, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at the NMMC-Tupelo. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky to parents Bobby Wayne Carter and Barbara Jean (Jolly) Carter. She lived most of her life in the Nettleton area. She was a seamstress for Oak Hall Cap and Gown in Plantersville. She was a member of Nettleton Independent Methodist Church. Aletha enjoyed fishing, cooking and being with her family. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Funeral services will be at 2 pm on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at the Chapel of Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home in Nettleton with Bro. Bubba Kennedy officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the funeral home prior to service from 1pm-2pm.

She is survived by one son, Bailey Harlow, her companion, Jerry Harlow, one step-daughter, Christy Hare (Wally), two grandchildren, Maddy Terry and Ryanna Terry, one sister, Gail Flurry and two nephews, Cory and Dewy Flurry.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Rebecca Miller and nephew, Chris Flurry.
