Amy Frances Easter White, 79, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at Monroe Regional Hospital with her family at her side. Born on July 9, 1946, she was a daughter to Buford C., Sr. and Nellie Weaver Easter. A graduate of Aberdeen High School, she also attended Itawamba Junior College, and for many years, she was a bookkeeper, also serving as the treasurer for Boy Scout Troop #39. She worked as a public housing manager in Aberdeen and prior to her retirement, she was employed with Byrne Zizzi Accounting Firm. She married Edwin L White on November 19, 1993, and she was member of First Christian Church in Aberdeen where she was active in her Sunday school class. Above all, her most important role was being a mother and grandmother and would sacrifice everything so they could have better. She traveled to cheer all sports events and would always celebrate any academic achievements. Her legacy of love will continue in the hearts of her children and grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, August 7, 2025 at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home in Aberdeen with officiating. Burial will follow in the Oddfellows Rest Cemetery.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Edwin L. White, Aberdeen; son, Matthew T. Gilmore and his wife, Eleanor Gilmore; her daughter, Amy Marie Harrington and her husband, Joseph Hegwood; brother, Buford C. Easter, Jr. and his wife, Frances Easter; sister, Carol Ann Rieves; grandchildren, Payton Keeler Gilmore, Daniel Thomas Harrington, John Thomas Gilmore, and Nathan Tyler Harrington; nephews, Michael Easter and Mark Rieves; nieces, Melissa Recuero and Melody Naramore; great nephews, Justin Recuero and wife Nikki and Brandon Naramore; great nieces, Courtney Easter, Kristen Recuero, Emily Cane and husband Zach, and Savannah Brasher (Brennon); great great niece, Denver Brasher; and great nephew, Nico.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Herbert Rieves.
Pallbearers will be Michael Easter, Daniel Harrington, John Thomas Gilmore, Nathan Harrington, and Brandon Naramore. Cousins will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Visitation will be on Thursday from noon until 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church, Aberdeen.
