Betty Neal

Betty Ann Neal, 83, passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2026 at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. She was born in Monroe County on February 20, 1942 to Stanley and Sally Morris Conway. A lifelong resident of Monroe, she was a homemaker all her adult life, taking care of her children to which she was wholly devoted. She enjoyed visiting with her family and liked to watch her stories on television. She was Pentecostal in faith.

Graveside services will be on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at 11 a.m. at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Aberdeen. Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. Everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery for the service.

She is survived by 7 sons, James William Neal, Jr., Jimmy Neal (Jill), Johnny Neal (Janice), Douglas Neal (Judy), William Neal, Tommy Neal (Jessica), and Bobby Neal; two daughters, Shelia Neal (Jody) and Penny Prestage (James); grandchildren, Brandon Neal, Joseph Neal, Kenneth Neal, Nick Neal, Jonathan Neal, Shawn Neal, Ethan Neal, Leslie White, Breanna Ashcraft, Katie Ashcraft, Chelsea Prestage, Carrie Prestage, Shelby Prestage, and Isabella Neal; and 11 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James William Neal; her parents, Stanley Conway and Sally Morris Conway and one brother, Larry Conway.
