Bob Peugh

Bob G. Peugh, 67, passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at Dugan Memorial Nursing Home in West Point. Born in Aberdeen on January 17, 1959, he was a son to Walter Stephen, Sr. and Sarah Pearson Peugh. He graduated Aberdeen High School, and he immediately joined his father in the oil and gas business as a landman. Bob was one-of-a-kind who never met a stranger. He enjoyed working on small engines and he could delegate responsibility well. He enjoyed traveling and was of the Baptist faith.

Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Odd Fellows Rest Cemetery with Bro. Bruce Childress officiating. Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home—Aberdeen has been entrusted with the arrangements.

He is survived by daughters, Nikki Russell Cude (Tyler), West Point, MS, and Kelly Howell (Russ), Round Rock, TX; sons, Walt Ray Peugh, New Orleans and Grant Peugh, Knoxville, TN; brother, Walter Stephen Peugh, Jr. (Betty), Staunton, VA; sisters, Sarah Ann Franks (Tommy), Rogersville, AL and Mary Jo Ayres (Stanley), Leland, MS; grandchildren, Seth Russell, Lyla Cude, and Chase Russell (Mikayla); and great grandchildren, Aubrey Russell and Rowan Russell.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Joe Peugh; and son-in-law, Robert Russell.

Pallbearers will be Stan Newman, Don Easter, Tim Allmond, Jerome Fowler, Steve McElroy, and Eric Jonas.

Visitation will be from 1 until 2:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
