Bridgett Michelle McCaffrey

Bridgett Michelle (Tartt) McCaffrey, 51, passed away on Monday, October 5, 2026 at the NMMC-Tupelo. She was born in Monroe County on February 3, 1975 to parents Billy Tartt and Patricia (Clayton) Johnson, She was a lifelong resident of Monroe County and she was a retired inspector for United Furniture. She was of the Baptist faith. Bridgett enjoyed rescuing animals especially dogs. She loved spending time with her family and working in her yard. She had a great outlook on life and a great sense of humor, she would even crack jokes about the loss of her arm. She never let the loss hold her back from living life to the fullest.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

She is survived by two daughters, Lynzzi Henderson (David), Kynzzi McCaffrey, three grandchildren, Alice Henderson, Walker Henderson, Waylen Britt, three brothers, David Tartt, Ayden Tartt, Dylan Johnson, two step-brothers, James Smith, Steven Holley, step-dad, Kelly Johnson, step-mothers, Donna Johnson, Janice Tartt, one sister, Morgan Tartt, and a host of nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Stacy Tutor.
