Buddy House

Franklin D “Buddy” House, 80, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at his home.  He was born on June 19, 2022, in Lowndes County to James “Dick” and Vera Williams House.  He married Dora Mae Copelin on September 3, 1966 and he was a home builder for many years as well as a truck driver for Holloway Trucking.  He liked to fish, hunt, and other outdoor activities as his health would allow.  He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and he loved his dog, Dolly.

A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, June 27, 2022 at Howell Cemetery with Bro. Scott Johnson, Tracy Callick, and Wiley Morgan officiating.  Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.

In addition to his wife, Dora Mae House, he is survived by his family, Eric and Laveta Boben of Ozark, AL; Tracy and Wendy Callick, Wiley Morgan (Julia) of Aberdeen both of Aberdeen; sister, Lois Borst (Ronald Dean) of Shreveport, LA; and brother-in-law, Harvey Copelin (Judy) of Aberdeen.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Leon and Louis House; and two sisters, Lucille and Gladys Woolbright.

Pallbearers will be Tracy Callick, Eric Boben, Wiley Morgan, Ronnie Owens, Bo Hill, and Veta Boben.

Visitation will be on Sunday evening from 5 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
