Cammie Carlile

Cammie Carlile, 83, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2026 at Diversicare Nursing Home in Amory. She was born in Aberdeen on May 1, 1943 to Jim Dolph and Francis Lee Nichols Hill. She attended Mississippi University for Women and later Itawamba Junior College where she received her degree as a registered nurse. She was a floor nurse and later as a travel nurse mainly across Florida. She loved crafts among which were needlepoint, crocheting, quilting, and canning vegetables.

A memorial gathering will be on Thursday, May 28, 2026 at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home in Aberdeen from 4 p.m. until 6.

She is survived by her husband, Garner Carlile, Aberdeen; one son, Terry Logan (Sharon), Aberdeen; 4 daughters, Cherie Logan, NC, Marla Robbins, Daytona Beach, FL, Lara Cox (Lee), Dayton Beach, FL, and Carol Brown, Dayton Beach, FL; 10 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death are her parents; son, John Logan; and brother, Bobby Louis Hill.
