Carrie Jane Kane, 57, passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 in Lamar County, AL. She was born on August 5, 1967 in Columbus and she grew up in Hamilton. She had worked as a cook at the fountain grill and previously she set with the elderly.

She is survived by her mother, Mary Jane Frembgen of Hamilton; one son, Charles Shelton of California; daughter, Harley Card (Matt Stanton) of Columbus; brother, Bose Frembgen (Dorothy) of Hamilton; sister, Teresa Goley of Virginia; and 3 grandchildren, Edward and Michael Card and Corbin Shelton.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Susan Simpson.
