Charles T. Burks, age 79, died Monday, July 16, 2018 at his residence in Lackey. He was born January 29, 1939 to Millard Burks and Velma Young Burks. He was a life long resident of Monroe County where he was a National Guard Veteran, self-employed farmer and heavy equipment operator. He was a graduate of Hamilton High School.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Jackie Burks.
Survivors include a sister in-law and his nieces and nephews.
