Clara J. Vaughn Lindsey

Clara J. Vaughn Lindsey, 77, passed away Thursday, September 13, 2018, at Diversacare of Amory after an extended illness. She was born on October 16, 1940 in Monroe County to Edgar and Ruby Vicks Vaughn. She had lived most all of her life in Monroe County, was a retired factory worker, and was a member of the Nettleton First Baptist Church. Clara enjoyed writing, reading, cooking, and being with her family. Survivors include two sons; Rickey W. Harris (Kim) of Nettleton and Keith Cox of Amory; two stepsons, Kirk Lindsey (Kathy) and Milton Lindsey, all of Nettleton; two sisters, Sandra Hankins of Mooreville and Evell Peters of Brewer; three grandchildren, Karli Rose Harris, Blair Patterson (Clay), & Kyle Lindsey (Katie); and three great-grandsons, Cade and Parker Patterson, and Jude Harris.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Douglas Lindsey; her parents; one sister, Peggy White; one brother, William Vaughn
