Danny Grissom

Danny J. Grissom, 68, passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at his home. He was born on October 13, 1956 in Hayti, MO to Joe Grissom and Betty Ash Grissom. In his younger years, he farmed, and later he was the owner/operator of Three Star Muffler Shop in Tuscaloosa. Drag racing was one of his favorite activities, and was particularly proud of his 1968 Camaro. An avid outdoorsman, his hobbies included hunting and fishing.

Graveside services will be at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 21, 2025 at Friendship Cemetery, 4th Street South, Columbus, MS with Bro. David Harrell officiating. Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home, Aberdeen has been entrusted with the arrangements.

He is survived by his son, D.J. Grissom, Tuscaloosa; granddaughter, Anna Grace Grissom, Northport; sisters, Joan Lann (Walter), Aberdeen and Gina Prisock (Buddy), Starkville; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death are his son, Hunter Grissom; his parents, Joe Grissom and Betty Grissom; sister, Beth Ann Grissom Beard; and great nephew, Sawyer Glen Prisock.

Pallbearers will be Carson Beard, Presly Prisock, Parker Prisock, Jason Russell, and Ty Scott.

Visitation will be on Sunday afternoon from 2 until 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home in Aberdeen.
