Debbie Rye

Deborah Lynn “Debbie” Rye, 68, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2022, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.  A lifelong resident of Nettleton, she was born on February 1, 1954, to James Carol “Jimmy” and Carol Jean Moevs Rye.  Debbie was a 1974 graduate of Nettleton High School, and she was a unit coordinator working for NMMC for 17 years.  She was a member of First Baptist Church in Nettleton where she enjoyed attending, and she liked to do yard work and spend time around the pool.  She loved her family, her special cousins, her friends, and her dog, Frankie.  

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home in Nettleton with Bro. Bradley Geno and Bro. Regan Rye officiating.  Burial will follow in the Nettleton Cemetery.  

She is survived by two brothers, Ronnie Rye (Sharon) and Ricky Rye (Lisa); two nephews, Justin Rye and A.J. Rye; and two nieces, Courtney Rye and Jena Gray (Michael).

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Pallbearers will be Justin Rye, A.J. Rye, Michael Gray, Scooter Henson, Donnie Wooldridge, and Woody Magers.

Visitation will be on Tuesday evening from 5 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
