Doris Shackelford

Doris Todd Shackelford, 88, passed away on Friday, June 2, 2023 at River Place Nursing Center in Amory.  She was born in Monroe County, MS on April 26, 1935 to the late Rufus and Francis Owing Todd.  Doris married Billy Shackelford and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.  She enjoyed shopping, baking, music but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her son, Ronnie Shackelford; daughter, Ladonna Hand; grandson, Shane Burrough (Christina); great granddaughter, Amber Clippard (Dustin); great grandson, Brady Burrough; 2 great great grandsons, Thaxton Clippard and Logan Clippard; 2 brothers, Mike Todd and Larry Todd.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by 2 sisters, Joan Edwards and Mary Francis East.

A private graveside service will be held at Union Cemetery on Monday, June 5, 2023.
