Felix Allen Cunningham

Felix Allen Cunningham, age 74, died Thursday, March 9, 2023 at North MS Medical Center Gilmore in Amory, MS.  He was born February 13, 1949 to Thomas Ferrell Cunningham and Ellen Juanita Sanderson Cunningham in  Aberdeen, MS.  Allen was a graduate of Hamilton High School and Wood Jr. College in Mathiston, MS.  He was a longtime resident of Hamilton, MS where he worked for Kerr McGee from where he retired.  He also managed and later owned Hamilton Rental Properties.  Allen served in the U. S. Navy as an Aviation Electrician, 2^nd Class and serving in the Vietnam War.  He was well known for his love of deer hunting, fishing, and trail riding with friends.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 13, 2023 in the Tisdale-Lann Memorial Chapel in Aberdeen with Rev. Darrell Sanderson officiating.  Burial will be in Lee Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include one sister, Sandra Scott (David) of Shannon, MS; two nephews, Jeremy Foster of Fulton, MS and Dan Foster (Suzanne) of Signal Mountain, TN; three great nephews, Connor Foster of Fulton, MS, Mason Foster of Signal Mountain, TN, and T. J. Foster of Signal Mountain, TN; one half-brother, Phillip Cunningham (Marilyn) of Aberdeen, MS.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Ferrell Cunningham and Ellen Sanderson Cunningham; and sister Dorothy Lynn Cunningham.

Honorary Pallbearers are Jeremy Foster, Dan Foster, Connor Foster, Mason Foster, T. J. Foster, Phillip Cunningham, and Roger Foster.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time on Monday.
