Ferrell Glen Morris, 66, passed away on Friday, July 23, 2021 at his home. Born on January 27, 1955 in Aberdeen, he was a son to Leroy, Sr. and Maggie Johnson Morris. He grew up in Aberdeen and Coontail Community and he worked for nearly 50 years in the muffler and brake business and prior to his retirement, he was the owner/operator of Aberdeen Muffler and Brake Shop. Ferrell liked NASCAR, watching westerns on television, and could solve most any problem with the help of his friends at morning coffee at the muffler shop.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home in Aberdeen with Bro. John Parker and Bro. Robert Earl Fowlkes officiating. Burial will follow in the Lebanon Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Molinda Adkins Morris of Aberdeen; two daughters, Nina Parker (John) and Lillian Rose Morris both of West Point; two stepsons, Nathan Schrock of Amory and Nicholas Schrock and fiancé, Hope of Valdasta, GA; one brother, Danny Morris of Becker; three sisters, Patsy Bagdanov of Destin, FL, Elaine Morris of Pensacola, and Nell Tate of Hamilton, MS; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Lillian Marie Morris; 4 brothers; and one sister.
Pallbearers will be Tom Smith, Danny Morris, Jr., Austin Meyers, Herbert Killian, Michael Morris, and Ray Morris. Honorary pallbearers will be Lewis Prestridge, Jimmy Harlow, and Charlie Williams.
Visitation will be on Monday evening from 5 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
