Frances Wilemon

Frances Crawford Wilemon was born on January 31, 1932 to George and Inis Crawford. She married Bill Wilemon on June 13, 1950. She had three loving children, and was especially blessed to have five wonderful grandchildren, Mike Wilemon (Jennifer), Tyler Wilemon (Whitney), Brent Wilemon (Mary Cameron), Cody Mayer (Ashley) and Teddy Buzby (Jake). She had 2 step grand children Leanna Smith (Steve) and Drew Pruett. She was very proud of her great grandchildren, Camden, Hudson, Millie, Grayson, Hayes, Emmy, Elise, Levi, Leddy, Colin
and Tate.

Her almost 94 years were full of life. She was a presence. She loved her garden, her clothes, her friends at first Baptist, her garden club, her longtime friend Ann Smith, and was a proud member of the DAR.

She had a special relationship with Barbara Burroughs, her longtime caregiver and friend, with whom she bickered, laughed, and usually gave in to.

She moved into the Garden Suite Assisted Living home a year ago, and settled in very comfortably. The family deeply appreciates the staff there. Everyone was so kind and patient with her. Special things also go to Connie Long and Carol Crawford, George Crawford, Mitch Scott, and Nancy and Jason Cantrell.

Family graveside services will be on Sunday afternoon at Odd Fellows Rest Cemetery.  Public visitation will be from 1 p.m. until 1:45 at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home in Aberdeen.

She is proceeded in death by her husband of 56 years, her parents, her two Brothers Bentley and George Junior, and her sister Inis.
