Coontail Community

Glenda Faye Little Hunter, age 79, of Aberdeen, MS, entered her eternal home on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at Monroe Regional Hospital. Graveside service will be Sunday, May 10, 2026, at New Hope Cemetery at 2:00pm. Brother Gray will be officiating.

Glenda was born on April 18, 1947, in Aberdeen, Mississippi, to the late Johnny and Kathleen (Jackson) Little. Also preceded in death by her brother, Henry Little.

At a young age, her Grandpa Little lovingly nicknamed her Fuzzy, and it stuck throughout her life. Years later, her grands named her Moo.

She is survived by her husband, Doyle Hunter; daughter, Gwen (Brian) McGee; son, Greg Hunter; grandchildren; Stacy (Whitney) Skipworth, Hunter (Breanna) McGee, Jacob (Bailey) McGee; great grandchildren; Jackson, Blake, and Andy Skipworth, River and Creek McGee, Fisher, Brooklyn, Waylon and Pasiley McGee and one on the way, Lillian McGee: loving aunts; Doris Lee and Ruth (Charles) Davis; sisters-in-law; Pat Litte, Beatrice (Clyde) Gray.

Along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that she loved dearly.

Glenda was a devoted Christian with an unwavering faith in God. She believed in being the “hands and feet” and served her family, friends, and community with grace and love. If you needed prayer, trust that she kept you covered. She gave love in many ways, but everyone could agree her cooking was one of the best. Chocolate pies would be at the top of many people’s list of favorites. Her family was her joy, and she cared for us so well. We are blessed to have been loved by her. The absence of her warmth and comfort will be missed by us all, but we are thankful to know we will be reunited one day.

Active Pallbearers: Hunter McGee, Jacob McGee, Ben Guest, Jason Thompson, Robbie Lee, and Danny Tubb.

We want to thank the staff at Monroe Regional Hospital for caring for her with compassion and love.
