Godwin Osawaru Imasuen

Tupelo- Godwin Osawaru Imasuen, 67, passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2025 at the Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. Born in Nigeria on January 14, 1958, he was a son to Joel Imasuen and Comfort (Ehimamigho) Imasuen. He graduated from Salvation Army High School in Lagos, Nigeria. He was a security officer. He was of the Chistian faith. Godwin enjoyed handy work and was an avid reader.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home in Nettleton with Dr. Sunday Adelakin officiating. Burial will be in Porter's Memorial Cemetery in Lee County.

Visitation will be prior to service from 10:00-11:00 am at the funeral home.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his son, Samuel Godwin Imasuen, two brothers, Patrick Imasuen (Sandra), Enoma Imasuen (Irene) and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brohers, Benedict Osurumwensee Imasuen, Augustine Awanfo Imasuen and one sister, Mary Iyabo Imasuen.

Pallbearers will be Samuel Imasuen, Donatus Mbonu and Enoma Imasuen.
