James "Bud" Harold Wells

James "Bud" Harold Wells, 68, passed away at his residence in Aberdeen on Friday, May 30, 2025.  James was born in Aberdeen on March 27, 1957 to the late James and Thelma Corbell Wells.  He attended Aberdeen School and had a longtime career as a truck driver until becoming disabled.  James enjoyed his morning routine of going to McDonald's for a sausage biscuit and coffee.  He also enjoyed yard work, especially cutting his grass.  More than anything, James loved his family and especially loved time with the grandchildren.

James is survived by his daughter, Amanda Wells (Melvin), Aberdeen; sister, Judy Moore, Lackey; brother, Jerry Wells, Hamilton; grandchildren, James Ward (Haley) and Destiny Ward (Eli); great grandchildren, Emery Ward and Kashton McCain; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Rita Wells and a brother, Ronald Wells.

A private family service will be held later.
