Jerry Gray Millwood

Nettleton/Port Arthur, TX- Jerry Gray Millwood, 74, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away on Monday, July 11, 2022 in Port Arthur, TX.  He was born in Plantersville, MS to Leon Millwood and Maud Ella  Edwards Millwood. He retired from the United States Coast Guard with many medals. He was a member of American Legion in Nederland.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at Nettleton First Baptist Church at 4:00 p.m. with Rev. Bradley Geno  officiating. Burial will follow at Zion Cemetery in Furrs, MS.  Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home of Nettleton will be in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by his son, Phil Millwood of Birmingham, AL; sisters, Regina King and husband Jamie of Plantersville, MS; Mary Nell Hand of Nettleton, MS; brothers, Edward L. Millwood of Foley, Al; Woody Magers and wife Judy of Nettleton, MS ; and Thomas Magers and wife Debbie of Nettleton, MS.

He was preceded in death by his wife Mary "Jane" Millwood and guardian parents Rev. L. R. Magers and Mary Ruth Magers.

Visitation will be before service time at the church from 3:00-4:00 p.m.
