Jimmy Lee Walker

Jimmy Lee Walker, age 79, died Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at Sanctuary Hospice in Tupelo.
He was born May 20, 1942 to Jerry Walker and Lillie Mae Norris Walker in Alabama.
He lived most of his life in Monroe County. He married his wife, Sue Oliver Walker in 1965.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his family, camping, fishing, and hunting.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 9, 2021 in the Tisdale-Lann Memorial Chapel in Aberdeen with Pastor Shawn Ihle officiating. Burial will be in Center Hill Cemetery in Hamilton.

Survivors include his wife, Sue Oliver Walker of Amory, MS; one son, Jimmy Wayne Walker (Sheila) of Clarksville, AR; two daughters, Susan West (Steven) of Hamilton, MS and Tina Gilreath (Chris) of Amory, MS; one brother, Cordell Walker of Arkansas; seven grandchildren,
Thomas Lee West, Valerie Denise Buckner, Dakota Walker, Zack Walker, Patrick Walker, Ryan Gilreath, and Liz Gilreath; one great grandchild, Mason Paul Buckner.

He is preceded in death by his parents; one grandchild, Brandy Nicole Walker; and three brothers, Lewis Walker, Grady Walker, and Alvin Walker.

Visitation will be from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home in Aberdeen.
