Kenneth Dodds

Preston Kenneth Dodds, 52, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2024 at his home.  He was born in West Point on April 12, 1971 to Preston and Geneva Owens Dodds.  He was a lifelong resident of Monroe County, and he worked in the furniture industry for 30 years as a forklift driver before becoming disabled.  His hobbies included hunting and fishing.  

Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 14, 2023 at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home in Aberdeen with Bro. Robert Earl Fowlkes and Bro. Eddie Clayton officiating. 

He is survived by a brother, Adam Brown; two sisters, Tina Reeves (Greg) of Wren and Angie Jones (Cecil) of Aberdeen; nieces and nephews, David Pace, Jr., Scotty Pace, Tabitha Baker, Tony Gray, Tyler Gray, Justin Gray, Alexis Reeves, Brandon Brown, Kaytlynn Brown, and Trey Jones; 26 great nieces and nephews; and 2 great great nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Brenda Dodds.

Honorary pallbearers will be Brandon Brown, Tony Gray, David Pace, Jr., Tyler Gray, Justin Gray, and Josh Baker.

Visitation will be on Sunday from 12:30 p.m. until the service time.
