Vivian Leila (Rogers) Capps, 88, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2026 at her residence in Nettleton. She was born in Franklin County, AL on February 9, 1938 to parents George Artie Rogers and Lola Bell (Cagle) Rogers. She lived most of her life in the Lee County area. She was a retired seamstress for Reeds Manufacturing in Nettleton and was a member of Jones Chapel Baptist Church. Leila enjoyed cooking for her family, fishing and working in her garden. She loved sharing the Lord's word with others. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be at 11 am, Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at Liberty Cemetery with Bro. Wesley Stephens officiating. Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home of Nettleton will be in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 from 5-8 pm at the funeral home.
She is survived by one son, Tony Capps (Teresa), three grandchildren, Glenn Anthony Capps (Tessa),Kristian Little (Matthew), Brittany Underwood, six great grandchildren, K'lee Grace Capps, Kilee Brooks Capps, Jaxston Green, Lyla Green, Avery Gray and Norie Little.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 51 years, Billy Capps, one son, Glenn Allen Capps and three brothers, George Elgar Rogers, Alvie Curtis Rogers and Lewis Cebe Rogers.
