Linda Coggin

Nettleton-Linda Sue (Westmoreland) Coggin, 74, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2024 at her residence in Nettleton. She was born in Arkansas on February 18, 1950 to parents Elvis Westmoreland and Vina Marlene (Bobo) Westmoreland. She lived most of her life in the Nettleton area. She was a member of Shiloh Community Church . Linda was a supervisor in the garment industry for many years. She loved to be outdoors especially working in her yard. Linda was very active in church functions and the food pantry. The joy of her life was spending time with her grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at 11 am in the Chapel of Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home of Nettleton with Bro. Danny Estes officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery near Plantersville. 

Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 from 5-7 pm at the funeral home.

She is survived by one daughter, Nancy Crawley (Brad), two grandchildren, Lauren Burt (Michael), Chris Moore (Hope), four great  grandchildren, Madelyn Burt, Owen Burt, Coleton Moore, Caroline Moore, one brother, James "JL" Westmoreland (Sondra), one sister, Ruby Westmoreland, special companion Edward Raper and one sister-in-law, Linda Randle.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bobby Joe Coggin and her siblings, Billy, Jimmy, Betty, Shirley and Edna.

Pallbearers will be Brad Crawley, Chris Moore, Michael Burt, Eddie Raper, J.L. Westmoreland and Tom Powell.
