Lottie Lorene Kennedy Jones

Lottie Lorene Kennedy Jones, 88, passed away Saturday, November 24, 2018, at Gilmore Memorial Hospital in Amory after an extended illness. She was born on February 16, 1930, in Lee County to Romie Pickens and Clemmie Kimble Kennedy. She was a lifelong resident of Nettleton, a beautician, and was the last charter member of Jones Chapel Baptist Church. She enjoyed going fishing and being with her family. Survivors include one son, Rickey Jones (Charlotte) of Nettleton; one sister, Myrtle Loyce Horne of the Carolina Community; two sons-in-law, Larry Todd (Bessie) of Nettleton and Steve Grisson (Sandi) of Belmont; 7 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy F. Jones; her parents; two daughters, Gail Todd and Margaret Grissom; four sisters; six brothers; one granddaughter; one grandson.
