Ludie Aliene Short passed from this life September 3, 2020, at Sanctuary Hospice in Tupelo, Ms. She was born April 3, 1926, in Monroe County to Charlie Barton Honeycutt and Ozie Williams Honeycutt.
She is survived by her daughter Belinda (Wayne) Craven, a sister Evie Rhea Davis, three grandchildren, Dana(Jamie) Pickel of Carthage, MS: Demika Ross, Hamilton, Ms; Dusty (Michele) Craven; Starkville, MS; Three great grandchildren, Gavin Ross, Abby Kate Pickel, and Thomas Wayne Ross, along with a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands T.A. (Abert) Smithson and Thurston L. Short, five sisters and two brothers.
