Mary Seely

Mary Belle McClelland Seely, 77, passed away on Sunday morning, October 11, 2026 at her home. Born in Louisville on August 12, 1949, she was the daughter of Melvin and Carrie York McClelland. She graduated high school in Kilmichael and in 1971, she married Mr. Roy Seely. She had worked as a heavy equipment operator during the construction of the Tenn-Tom Waterway and also, she had worked at Walker Manufacturing. She collected Santa Claus figurines of all sizes and she enjoyed going to flea markets and thrift stores. She was of the Church of God faith.

A visitation will be on Thursday afternoon from 3 until 5 p.m. at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home in Aberdeen. A private family burial will be at a later date.

In addition to her husband of 56, years, Roy Seely, she is survived by her son, Craig Seely (Kay), Hamilton; grandson, Seth Seely; and sister, Peggy Wood, Louisville.

Preceding her in death are her parents; and one brother, Sonny McClelland.
