Norman Jules Frossard Jr.

Norman Jules Frossard Jr. passed away on December 4, 2020 at his residence in Starkville, MS at age 82. He was born in St. Louis, MO on February 20, 1938. He was raised in the north and in 1973 was transferred to Aberdeen , Ms where was more than happy to claim being from and also calling the south his home and was happier with the idea that he would probably not ever have to shovel another pile of snow. He was a deacon at the First Presbyterian church and a Veteran. He retired from Walker Manufacturing in 2000. He was an avid golfer and fisherman, and in his younger days quite the athlete having been the first and only student that earned 15 varsity letters while attending Brentwood High School in Brentwood, MO. He was a graduate of Rolla the Missouri School of Mines (now Missouri Science and Technology) with a degree in engineering. He was also awarded several pattens for his designs one being for the manifold for the 1975 corvettes. In 2010 he moved to Starkville where he resided with his daughter and grandchildren who were reminded daily of his dry sense of humor and his “one liners “. A favorite being when they told him they loved him his response instead of I love u too was – I love you four – that’s twice as much as two. He will be missed by all who knew him. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. And we can all take comfort now knowing he is no longer “ stiff in all the wrong places “.

Beloved husband of the late Judy Frossard (Campbell) for 44 years. Dear father to Jeff (Kathy) Frossard of Nashville,Tn and Patty Parrish of Starkville, Ms. Loving grandfather to Alexx Frossard of Austin ,Tx, Allie Smith of Dallas,Tx , Mary Hayden Parrish and Gatlin Parrish both from Starkville, Ms. Dear brother to the late Suzanne (Jim) Taylor of Kirkwood, Mo. Dear uncle, cousin, and friend to many.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman J. Frossard Sr and Ruth Frossard of Kirkwood, Mo.

Graveside services for immediate family will be

Thursday, December 10, 2020 at 4 p.m.

in Oddfellows Rest Cemetery, in Aberdeen. Future plans for celebration of life gathering will be scheduled at a later date.

Memorials may be made to the Aberdeen Animal Shelter ,ASPCA , Alzheimer’s association or other favorite charity.
