Peggy J. Hester

Peggy J. Hester, 73, passed away on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at the Greenwood Leflore Hospital in Greenwood, MS. She was born on June 23, 1945 in Nettleton to Huston O. and Hazel Finney Hester. She was a native of Nettleton, but had resided in Okolona most all of her life. She was a graduate of Okolona High School in 1965, and was selected as one of their beauties in her senior year, was a retired cosmetologist, and a Baptist. Survivors include one daughter, Gidget King (Ty) of Fredericksburg, VA; one son, Toby Hester (Nikki) of Saltillo; two sisters, Betty J. Wilhete (Pete) of Pontotoc and Donna Davis of Okolona; one brother, Bobby Hester (Connie) of Houlka; five grandchildren, Paige Tuvio (Sebastian) of Argentina, Morgan King of Charlottesville, VA, Ben King (U.S.M.C.), Locke Hester of Starkville, Jackson Hester of the home. She was preceded in death by her parents; & her brother, Tommy Hester.
