Peggy Joyce McBrayer Pace, 68, passed away on March 14, 2024 at River Place Nursing Center in Amory. She was born on May 1, 1955 in Louisville, MS to the late Albert Webster McBrayer and Ellen Adcock McBrayer.  Peggy was a graduate of S.D. Lee Highschool, Class of 1973.  She married Billy Dale Pace.  Peggy had a longtime career with the Aberdeen Electric Department, retiring in 2002 as head cashier.  She was a faithful member of First Christian Church in Aberdeen and was also a member of the church Friendship Circle.  More than anything, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.  

Peggy is survived by her sons, Chad Pace, Kansas and Chris Pace (Brittany), Amory; grandchildren, Parker Beasley, Kye Dozier and Rami Kate Pace; sisters, Bettye Fisher, Ann Jenness, Martha O’Shia, Margie Brown (Bill); brother, Albert McBrayer (Wanda); brother in law, Jimmy “Bimbo” Pace (Sissy); aunt, Ruby Goodgame.

In addition to her parents and husband, Peggy is preceded in death by her sister, Alice Faye McBrayer; brothers, Eddie, Andy and JW McBrayer.

A graveside service will be held at 1 PM on Monday, March 18, 2024 at OddFellows Rest Cemetery in Aberdeen with Bro. David Snyder officiating.  Pallbearers will be B.R. Richey, Kenneth Archer, Brandon Archer, Kye Dozier, Ben Mattox, Bradley Burroughs.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 18, 2024 at Tisdale Lann Memorial Funeral Home from 11 AM until 12:40 PM.
