Rex Bernon Wright

Nettleton-Rex Bernon Wright, 67, passed away on Friday, March 11, 2022 at the NMMC-Gilmore in Amory. He was born on May 30, 1954 in Monroe County to parents Jack Bernon Wright and Annie Louise (Lee) Wright. He lived most of his life in the Nettlton area. He was a truck driver. He enjoyed old cars, old trucks, grilling and going to auctions. He was of the Pentecostal faith.

Funeral services will be in the Chapel of Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home in Nettleton on Sunday, March 13, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Jordan Davis officiating. Burial will be in Haughton Memorial Park in Amory.

He is survived by one son, Scottie Wright, one daughter, Kristy Cates (David), two sisters, Pennie Sneed, Tarica Rowe (Jamie), three grandchildren, Cody Cates (Jasmine), Harley Cates (Noah), Dixie Wright, two great grandchildren, Reed Steele and River Cates. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Virginia Ann Wright one sister Toni Kennedy, one daughter Candy Ann Wright. 

Pallbearers will be Mike Johnson, Tubby Harlow, Mike McCollum, Zack Parker, Rodney Rowe, Danny Leach.

Visitation will be on Sunday before service time 2:00-3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
