Wren–Ricky Joe Jackson, 56, passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at his home. Ricky was born on September 3, 1964 in Monroe County to Billy Joe and Lottie Whitworth Jackson. He lived in Wren and before becoming disabled, he worked in the furniture industry. Ricky was an avid horseman and liked nothing better than to saddle up and ride. He liked to watch westerns on television and when he was able, he loved to work. His greatest joy was to spend time with his loving wife, Suwana and his family. He was Baptist in faith.

Services will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at Tisdale-Lann Funeral Home Chapel in Aberdeen with Bro. Robert Earl Fowlkes officiating. Burial will be in the New Hope (Coontail) Cemetery.

In addition to his wife, Suwana Brown Jackson, he is survived by three sons, Jared McBrayer of Houston, Richard Jackson (Felicia) of Becker, and Shane Jackson (Haley) of Wren; one daughter, Brandi Jackson of Wren; two brothers, Rex Jackson of Bruce and Billy Doyle Jenkins of Columbus; one sister, Shelby Duvall (Bud) of Mantachie; grandchildren, Kenneth, Kameryn, Rylan, Aubree, and Brynlee; a host of nieces and nephews; one special great niece, Anastasia Caldiero; and a close friend, Roger Phelps.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Richard Dale Jackson, Mike Humphrey, and Bobby Jenkins.

Pallbearers will be Richard Jackson, Shane Jackson, Jared McBrayer, Roger Phelps, Tanner Lauderdale, and Jason Mitchem.

Visitation will be on Tuesday from noon until service time at the funeral home.
