Ricky Kennedy

Okolona- James Ricky Kennedy, 67, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024 at his residence in Okolona. He was born on January 30, 1956 in Monroe County to parents Albert B. Kennedy and Sally Lillian (Davis) Kennedy. He lived most of his life in Monroe and Chickasaw counties. He was of the Baptist faith.  He had worked in the furniture industry as a frame builder. Ricky enjoyed fishing, working in his yard, watching wrestling and old westerns on television.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 2, 2024  at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home in Nettleton with Rev. Alan Hall officiating. Burial will be in Kennedy Haven Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah Kennedy, four sons, Ricky "Benji" Kennedy (Misty), Steven Lee Little, David Glen Little, Samuel " D.E." Little (Jessica), one daughter, Regina Fredrick (Johnny), 19 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, one brother, Donnie Kennedy (Mamie),two uncles, Jimmy Ray Davis, Dwight Kennedy and several nieces and nephews,

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be on Friday at the the funeral home before service time from 12:00-1:00 pm.
