Ruth King

Ruth Ann Cooper King, 88, passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at NMMC in Tupelo. She was born on December 3, 1936 to Thomas C. and Alma Starling Cooper and was a lifelong resident of the Nettleton area. She was the widow of Cecil King and was Baptist by faith. She enjoyed working, going to Tunica, watching her favorite television shows, and being with her family.

She is survived by one son, Billy King (Lori); and two stepdaughters, Breanna Merchant and Chelstin Ledlow.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three siblings; and her husband, Cecil King.
