Sonya Dawn (Hester) Barnett

Sonya Dawn (Hester) Barnett, 48, passed away Friday, November 2, 2018 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo after a sudden illness. She was born June 2, 1970 in Lee County to Jimmy W. and Barbara Hutchinson Hester. Sonya was a Lifelong resident of Nettleton, an employee of Subway in Nettleton for the past eleven years and was a member of Faith Outreach Church in Okolona. She enjoyed watching car racing and being with her family, especially her grandchild. Survivors include two sons, Corey and Blake Barnett of Nettleton; one grandchild, Alika Barnett of Nettleton; one brother, Delayne Hester (Lisa) of Nettleton; two nephews, Joseph and Jordan Hester of Nettleton; and several Aunts and Uncles. She was preceded in death by her parents.
