Stephen Duryee

Stephen Douglas Duryee, 22, passed away on Friday, January 3, 2025 at the Baldwyn Nursing Facility. Born in Lee County, he was a son to Jason Duryee and Laura Delane Davis Duryee. Stephen enjoyed riding motorcycles and spending time with his family and friends. He was a Christian. 

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home in Nettleton. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the service hour at the funeral home.

Surviving family include his father, Jason Duryee; his mother, Laura Davis Duryee; one brother, Damion Duryee (Lacey); 1 sister, Jaycee Duryree; paternal grandparents, Kevin and Patti Duryee; maternal grandmother, Julie Whitehead; two nieces, Ashlynn and Maevery Duryee; nephew, Dodge Duryee; and honorary grandparents, L.C. and Doris Thompson. 

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, John Steven Whitehead.
