Tennie B Collins

Tennie B Collins, age 95, died Monday, October 8, 2018 at her residence in Hamilton. She was born July 14, 1923 to William Thad Winders and Mary Louise Honeycutt Winders in Hamilton. She was a life long resident of Hamilton where she was a member of Hamilton Presbyterian Church and retired as owner of The Grass Shop. Survivors include her husband of seventy three years, Anderson “A.B.” Collins of Hamilton, MS; one daughter, Margaret Adkins (Charles) of Columbus, MS; one sister-in-law, Betty Swanzy of Columbus, MS; a number of nieces and nephews on both the Winders and Collins families. Preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Minnie Lou Savage and Ruby Jewel Boyd; seven brothers, Bryant, Woodrow, Noah, Arthur, Carl, LeRoy, and Erby Winders.
