Terence Gerald Leary

Dr. Terence Gerald Leary, 75, passed away on November 17, 2025 at his residence in Aberdeen. Terry was born in New Haven, CT on October 23, 1950 to parents Micheal Leary and Mary McMahon Leary. He was a graduate of Texas A&M University earning his Ph.D in psychology. He was a psychology professor at Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers Florida. He had an extensive career, he was very engaging at public speaking, instructing and teaching. He had written several papers and had done several forensic studies. Terry enjoyed the beach and found great pleasure just relaxing in the sun.  He adored living in Aberdeen and he was a member of the Aberdeen Cycling Club. He loved his family and friends and he will be deeply missed. 

He is survived by his sister, Mary Ellen Krummrich of Aberdeen, MS; his brother, John Leary of New Haven, CT; nieces, Bronwen Dyll (Edward); Isolde Butler MD (John); nephew , Seth Krummrich (D'Arcy) and a host of great nieces and nephews.
