Tim Pounders

Timothy Wayne Pounders, 62, passed away at his residence on Friday, May 2, 2025.  He was born in Chicago on October 2, 1962 to the late Amos and Mary Elizabeth Scoffield Pounders.  Tim attended Hamilton School.  He had a longtime career doing what he loved as a heavy equipment operator.  Tim loved being in the outdoors, especially being on his tractor working on his place.  He loved to laugh and joke, was an excellent cook and enjoyed having his friends over while grilling.  

Tim is survived by his son, Turner Pounders, Hamilton; step children, Chris McCrory (Penny), Okolona, Jessica McCrory, Wrem and Lacey Gray (Jason), Amory; brother, Joel Pounders (Cathy), Hamilton; 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; special friends, Lee West, Eric Brauhn, Tony Champain, Richard Gill, Adam Brown and Danny Holloway.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Chris Pounders.

A Memorial Service will be held at 6 PM on Monday, May 5, 2025 at Tisdale Lann Memorial Funeral Home in Aberdeen with Bro. Jerry Pounders officiating.
