Tommy Wilson Hall

Nettleton- Tommy Wilson Hall, 81, passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at Diversicare Nursing Home of Amory where he had resided the last 8 years.  He was born on July 14,1943 in Itawamba County to Leroy D. Hall and Nadine (Ridings) Hall. He was a member of the Nettleton Presbyterian Church. Tommy was a master carpenter.  He taught carpentry at the Vocational Department at Carver High School in Tupelo he was also an insurance salesman for a period of time. Before becoming disabled he enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing, He was a charter member of the Nettleton County Line Civitan Club.

Funeral services will be 3 pm Sunday, June 1, 2025 at the Nettleton Presbyterian Church with Rev. Jack Inmon officiating. Burial will be in New Chapel Cemetery. Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home of Nettleton will be in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by 2 sons, Byran Hall (Lacey) of Pass Christian, MS; Jason Hall of Nettleton; 1 daughter, Amanda Hall Bosley of Houston, TX; 2 brothers, Durell Hall (Pat) of Nettleton; Jimmy Hall (Judy) of Little Rock, AR; 1 sister, Annette Whitlock (Dale) of Nettleton; 4 grandchildren, Jimmie Ann Hall, Josh Hall (Andrea), Marley Hall, Katie Ivy and 1 great grandchild, Basil Hall and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 1-3 pm prior to service time at the church.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

His family would like to thank the staff at Diversicare in Amory the Memory Care Unit for their compassionate care. Thanks also to Sanctuary  Hospice of Tupelo for their care in his last 2 weeks.
