Tommy Wade Williams, 72, passed away from this life on Friday, February 23, 2024 at his home near Nettleton. One of eleven children, he was born in Lowndes County on April 14, 1951 to Joe and Jettie Mae Cantrell Williams. He was a lifelong resident of the Nettleton area and a retired farmer. His hobbies included fishing, television, and spending time with his family; and he was Baptist by faith.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 26, 2024 at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home in Nettleton with Bro. Ricky Pierce officiating. Burial will be in the Crews Cemetery near Sulligent.
Survivors include three sisters, Myrtle Streetman, Shelby Gray, and Linda Williams; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Bill, Harold, Pete, and James Williams; and three sisters, Betty Jo Williams, Lucille Clayton, and Lottie Edwards.
Pallbearers will be Rickey Hall, Cody Streetman, Jamie Streetman, David Edwards, James Edwards, and Dale Strickland.
Visitation will be on Monday from 10 a.m. until the service hour.
