ABERDEEN—Antonio Christopher Provias (Tony), 63, passed away peacefully in his home Saturday, August 2, 2025. Born June 19, 1962, to Christopher Antonio Provias and Frankie Nolen Provias in Aberdeen. Tony was a lifelong resident and businessman of Aberdeen. Tony owned and operated the Tenn Tom Pallet company, servicing the southeast. He graduated from Aberdeen High School where he played football for the bulldogs. He attended his beloved Ole Miss, where he broadcasted an unofficial radio show focused on Ole Miss sports from his dorm room. His passions included visiting Skopelos, Greece and cheering on the Ole Miss Rebels win, lose, or draw.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. followed by services at 11 a.m. Monday, August 4, 2025, at First Presbyterian Church of Aberdeen with Doug Stone officiating. Burial will follow in Oddfellows Rest Cemetery. Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home of Aberdeen is presiding over arrangements.
He leaves behind his fiancée, Deborah Munago and her daughters Erin and Stephanie Turner; his mother, Frankie Nolen Provias; two sisters, Nina Jurney (Louis) of Okolona and Laurenda Richardson of Aberdeen. Tony prided himself on helping to raise Jacob Jackson, Maggie Jackson, and Thomas Jackson and his three grandchildren, Skylar, John Daniel, and Wyatt. He was always so proud of their accomplishments.
He was preceded in death by his father, Chris Provias.
The Pallbearers will be John Provias, Nick Provias, Christopher “Tyki” Jurney, Charles White, Will Mosley, Page Thomason, Chris Chambers, and Stephen Frederic. Honorary pallbearers include George Provias, Jacob Thomas, and Thomas Jackson.
