Tracy Thompson

Tracy Lynn Thompson, 48, passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at her home in Hamilton.  She was born on October 15, 1973 in Aberdeen to Rickie Baldwin and Brenda Smith Rabbitt.  Her greatest joy was being the mother of strong, remarkable daughters.  Her greatest blessings were the sweet grandbabies that she enjoyed spending time with.  She also enjoyed going to garage sales with her mother-in-law, Evelyn Thompson and visiting with her.  Her longtime love and father of her daughters, Mark Thompson, made memories that will always be cherished. 

A Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, June 11, 2022 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Hamilton Methodist Church with Dr. Rev. Roger McGrew officiating.  Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home is assisting the family.

She is survived by her husband, Mark Thompson of Hamilton; two daughters, Jessica Leigh Smith (Ben) of Hamilton and Harley Alexis Thompson of Gattman; her father, Rick Baldwin (Mary Jane) of Tupelo; mother, Brenda Rabbitt (Ray) of Columbus; one brother, Daniel McDaniel of Toccoa, GA; two grandchildren, Austin Cole Smith and Aiden Jace Smith; uncle, Dickie Roberts; and close friends, Kaitlyn Goodman (Chris), Christina Sawyer (Tim), Haley Nettles (Crystal), Kourtney Sims, and Linda Sims Nettles.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Evelyn and Herbert Cook, Lucine Smith, and Betty Bethune.

A memorial gathering will begin at 10 a.m.
