Ronnie Flurry

Nettleton- Wallace Ronnie Flurry, 62, passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at his residence in Nettleton.  He was born on May 26, 1961 in Lee County to parents Wallace Flurry and Willa Dean (Taylor) Leathers. He lived most of his life in the Nettleton area. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Nettleton. Ronnie was in the Army National Guard for six years. He enjoyed his animals, classic cars and Mississippi State sports.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 pm Sunday, March 17, 2024 at Liberty Baptist Church in Nettleton with Bro. Robert Hogue officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery. Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home of Nettleton will be assisiting the family.
He is survived by his wife of forty-two years,Gail Flurry of Nettleton; two sons, Dewy Flurry (Lacy) of New Albany, MS; Cory Flurry of Shannon, MS; one grandson, Sebastian Flurry of Pontotoc, MS; one brother, Marlin Flurry of Bolivar, TN and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by one son, Christopher Flurry, one brother Darryl Flurry and stepfather Dallas Leathers.
Pallbearers will be Gary Flurry, John Fowler, Jerry Harlow, Bailey Harlow, Sebastian Flurry and Clyde Smithey.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 17, 2024 from 1:00-3:00 pm at the church prior to service.
