William Arthur Farley

William Arthur Farley, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2026 at the MS State Veterans Home in Oxford. He was born in Waldo, AR on December 8, 1947 to Jesse Olen Farley and Norma (Cohea) Farley. He lived most of his life in the Shannon area. He was a retired HVAC technician for several different companies. William proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church in Tupelo. He had several hobbies of which he loved; learning to speak French, painting, collecting guns, target practicing  and watching old Westerns on television. William was a very spiritual man who loved the Lord and reading his word in the Bible.

Funeral services will be 11 am on Friday, March 27, 2026 in the Chapel of Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home in Nettleton with Bro. Christopher Atkinson officiating. Burial will be in Old Union Cemetery near Shannon. 

Visitation will be on Friday prior to service time from 10 am-11 am at the funeral home.

He is survived by one daughter, Denise Randleman (David), 3 grandchildren, Daniel, Seth & Carrie Randleman, one step-son, Kurt Threlkeld, one step-grandson, Cade Threlkeld (Kaitlyn) and one step-daughter, Beverly Threlked.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Jerry Farley and one infant son.
