William Teddy Putnam

William Teddy Putnam, 66, passed away on Friday, September 5, 2025 at his residence in Aberdeen. He was born on October 2, 1958 in Eupora, MS to parents William O. Putnam JR., and Gloria Faye (Wright) Cantrell. He was a lease operator in the oil and gas industry and he loved it. William enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles and four wheelers. He loved spending time with his family especially with his grandchildren. He  was always willing to help others wheather they be friends, family or even  strangers. He was a member of Prairie Baptist Church. 

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Prairie Baptist Church in Prairie, MS with Bro. George Collins officiating. Burial will be in the Putnam Family Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 from 5-7 pm at the Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home in Aberdeen, MS 

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Putnam, mother, Gloria Cantrell, son, William "Billy" Putnam, daughter, Zoey Jane Putnam, brothers, Mike Putnam, Jeff Putnam, Brad Putnam, Todd Jenkins, Allen Cantrell, sister, Ginger Putnam, 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, brother, Chris Putnam and son, William Charles Putnam.

Pallbearers will be Mikey Humbers, Tray Humbers, Roger Morris, John Putnam, Ben Putnam and Jake Fitzgerald.
