William Irvin Vaughn

William Irvin Vaughn, 71, passed away on Friday, September 18, 2026 at The Care Center of Aberdeen. He was born on November 28, 1954 in Lee County to parents William Douglas Vaughn and Mary (Harrington) Vaughn. He lived most of his life in the Nettleton area but had resided in Aberdeen  for the last 10 years at The Care Center of Aberdeen. When he was able to work  he was in the janitorial field. William enjoyed watching television and spending time with his friends and caregivers at The Care Center. He was an avid cat lover and when he lived at home he had many.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at 11 am in the Chapel of Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home in Nettleton. Rev. Jordan Davis will be officiating. Burial will be in Palestine Cemetery in Lee County near Nettleton.

Visitation will be from 10-11 am prior to service time at the funeral home.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings.

He is survived by his friends and staff at The Care Center of Aberdeen.
