Bobby Cleveland, President, has been in the funeral service profession since becoming an apprentice in November 1997. Driven with a passion to serve others since his childhood, Bobby’s desire is to make sure each family served is taken care of from the first call to the cemetery, and then after. Since purchasing and taking over operations in October 2025, building on the nearly 150-year history of this firm, he is committed to providing a caring memorial that will honor your loved one and to comfort the living. 


A 2001 graduate of East Mississippi Community College in Funeral Service Technology, Bobby is a licensed funeral director and embalmer.  He also hold a Bachelor's degree from Southern Christian University.  In addition, Bobby has done post-graduate work in the field of Thanatology, the study of dying, with an emphasis in suicide. He is passionately willing to help those with whom suicide has affected families. 


Our funeral homes have stood as a pillar of strength and support for the communities we serve, consistently upholding traditions of empathy and professionalism. Generations of families have entrusted us with their most sensitive moments, confident in our unwavering commitment to their needs.


Sandi Tisdale Ervin retired in October 2020 and will be remembered for the compassion she gave to all. Her unwavering kindness and ability to comfort families during their most difficult times left a lasting impression on everyone she served. Sandi's legacy of empathy and dedication continues to inspire those who follow in her footsteps at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Homes.


Kenneth W. Tisdale played a significant role in sustaining the values and traditions at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Homes. His dedication to service and genuine care for families in their times of need helped further the legacy established by his parents, William and Mary Tisdale. Kenneth was recognized for his compassionate approach, always striving to ensure that families felt supported and respected throughout their experiences with the funeral home.


His leadership and commitment continue to influence the staff and the community, leaving an enduring mark on the history of Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Homes. Tisdale retired in October 2020 and is fondly remembered for his unwavering commitment to the community and his compassionate, caring spirit toward everyone he served.


Honoring the Tisdale Family Legacy

 



 

In 1950, William M. (Tizzy) Tisdale and his wife, Mary, assumed the management of the funeral home, later becoming its owners in 1959. Their stewardship was marked by a deep commitment to serving families with compassion and dignity.


Mary Tisdale passed away in 2008, followed by William in 2010. Their legacy of thoughtful, dedicated, and personal care set a lasting standard for the next generation, inspiring continued excellence and empathy in the funeral home's service to the community.
